What a surprise, finally, something I was so sure I could predict didn't come to pass in Danganronpa. Instead of having one person die this time, two people were killed. Fujisaki is reincarnated, or symbolically so as a computer program aptly named 'Alter Ego'. Nope, he just programmed a software to respond like himself, and that is definitely a genius over here. A step has been formed in the right direction, for the remaining students to learn more about the killing game they are trapped in, since the laptop can decrypt all the hidden files on the school server, and what’s been revealed so far is surprisingly unexpected: an impossible photo of the deceased Fujisaki, Oowada and Leon together in what seems to be a normal classroom. A quintessential rule in mystery is that if something out of the ordinary suddenly appears, it won't be there for the sake of being there; it's there because there's something important about it.

Danganronpa: Kibo no Gakuen to Zetsubo no Kokosei - 5
When the first murder has happened, case is solved, and the situation cools down, any mystery begins to lose its appeal, and interest. What other way is better than rinse, and repeating the cycle? That's right, another murder has happened, though that isn't very surprising considering this is a murder mystery anime. Some people say the novelty is beginning to wear off, though I'd reply 'Seriously, what did you expect?'. Everything about this anime screams out a formulaic cycle, considering how similar to Phoenix Wright it is (Objection!). Firstly the fact it's based off a game (which will have fixed mechanics), then there's the murder mystery running throughout the show (there's going to be more than one murder). Looking up ahead, I admit I'm also expecting some great twist, since there must be some underlying reason why this game got animated over all the other ones out there. Well, enough ranting, and onto the review!

RIP Chirio Fujisaka, who was perfect, other than being a trap |

Danganronpa - 4
First of all, I want to apologise on how late this review is, and for the lack of pictures. I don't want to spend too long explaining why it is late, so I'll just keep it short – I'm in Spain right now, and my access to the web is limited. So anyway, without further ado, lets dive into the review of the fourth episode of Danganronpa.

Danganronpa - 3
To start off, I'm sorry about this review being late - there weren't any subbed releases out yesterday, so I had to wait until today for one to be released. I don't know why it took an extra day, but I'm not really fussed, because Danganronpa has continued to impress me with its third episode. I'd definitely recommend you watch it, as this entry to the series is as thrilling as it is thought-provoking.

Danganronpa - 2
Last week, I praised the first episode of Danganronpa, and now I'm back to review the second episode, and the following episodes until series concludes. So, without further ado, lets dive into it.
The episode starts with Makoto, in his room. Monobear announces that everyone has been supplied with weapons, perfectly suitable for murder - fantastic. He is then approached Maizono, who complains about her bedroom door constantly clattering. She then requests a room swap, and Makoto being the soft twerp he is approves of it. After moving to her room, he goes to sleep.

Danganronpa the Animation – 01
Its Jonny! Reviewing anime? Well... Reviewing Monster Hunter is taking longer than I thought, so I decided to try something a bit different. So here I am, posting a review for the first episode of the new anime series, Danganronpa. Before I start, I just want to note I am kind of inexperienced, so I will evolve my review formula as the series goes on and I gain more experience. Danganronpa is an anime based on a PSP game of the same name that was released a few years ago, exclusively in Japan, so anyway, let's start the review.
So, the show has a strange start. A teddy bear, half white, half black, stands in front of a capsule with a menacing look. There is a man in the capsule, with a blindfold. The capsule then locks up. Its sent up into space... Then falls back down. The capsule re-opens and he's... dead. I can't say I know whats going on, but it seems like its the desired affect.
