The Current Obito (The crappy antagonist)
I'll start off by apologizing for the late post. I was actually ill yesterday, so I was unable to review this week's Naruto chapter. Fortunately, it doesn't seem like I missed a particularly good chapter, seeing as it was just as crappy as every other chapter that's been released these couple of weeks. Ironically, it seems that the Naruto chapters are getting crappier and crappier the closer they get to the Devil's number (666). Hopefully Kishimoto references the Devil's number when chapter 666 comes out...though that would be quite an optimistic statement.Anyway, let's actually review this week's chapter.
So, as suspected, this chapter is primarily about Kakashi v. Obito and (as usual) Kakashi obviously manages to win using some stupid reference to the Will of Fire and Naruto...
And I suppose this whole battle was absolute crap. No credible things whatsoever, the whole battle was literally like every other battle in Naruto. The good guy loses badly, then remembers Naruto, and the Will of Fire, and suddenly powers up by freaking 129087492384769834765897%.
Yeah. That was a FREAKING GENJUTSU |
So I'll skip the crap, and get right into the heart of the battle, the END of it.
Why is Kakashi suddenly using a knife raikiri? O_o |
Awwww...why does Obito look like Zetsu? |
We also find out that Madara plans to become the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. If he succeeds in doing so, then Madara will have the Rinnegan, the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, Wood Release and the chakra of the Ten-Tails. This will effectively make him stronger than even the Sage of the Six Paths...but hopefully that doesn't happen. I'm pretty sure the Ten-Tails won't fuse with him, because his body is too weak or something stupid like that, but hey! Let's just hope that we actually get a good, unexpected plot twist.
As a whole, I'd like to say that this chapter was awful. I'd give it a 1/10, it contained a terrible battle and a plot twist that has repeated itself so much throughout Naruto that it's no longer exciting any more. I swear to god, the next chapter better not be as awful as this one or I'll just give up on Naruto as a whole...
But, until next time, peace out.
