The Golden Plains
Usually I like to come up with a lot of stuff to make fun of the chapters that I review. Unfortunately, I really couldn't come up with much for this chapter, mainly because it didn't contain any battles of such. Anyway, let's get into the chapter.
So, as expected, this arc has finally ended and this chapter is pretty much wrapping it up. Funnily enough, not a single dragon was killed throughout this entire chapter, which is ironic seeing as there was 7 dragon slayers...

Anyway, Carla says something pretty clever here:
I think Natsu should be renamed as the Flame Dragon Befriend-er. Moving on, the chapter pretty much wraps up this arc with a nice little reference to the title, Golden Plains, where all the future members of Fairy Tail walk off into the distance with the sun setting.
To which I replied with:
Ahhhh, maybe I did have something about the chapter to make fun of... Anyway, history does indeed rewind, and all the people who came into the future begin to fade away. It shows scenes from all the battles that were going on, and how the dragons fade away, usually saying pretty colourful things that you'd expect your average dragon to say.
Don't worry Mavis, Natsu became friends with one! |
Lucy cries a lot... |
Anyway, I'm pretty sure that this event has reinstated Fairy Tail's previous reputation and that the next arc will be great. Hopefully Gildarts wasn't completely oblivious to what was going on and actually decides to return to guild...
But, as a whole, I think they really wrapped up this arc really well and it had a feel-good ending to it. So, until next time, peace out.
