So, as I said, this episode marks Tomoko's first interaction with complete strangers. This show really loves its cringey humour, and oh boy does this scene go all out on it. Everything from awkward and unfunny poop jokes to complete inability to talk. God, I've seen people say that they have to get up and walk around a bit every episode, and that's completely understandable. The cringe, its so powerful...
And then we have Tomoko's daydreams and fantasies. The series has a lot of references so far, such as this Ghost in the Shell one, but what strikes me most about these is how they are animated from scratch, since they aren't in the manga. Yes she does still daydream, but its just in text format that we get an insight into that.
Really theres not much else I can talk about, seeing as there isn't some kind of over-arching plot or focus on character development. For a SoL comedy such as this it becomes a little bit like "It's still entertaining" every week. So yeah, it's still fun to watch.
