Naruto - 633

Going Forward (*cough* more like backward *cough*)

I'll admit, there's really not much to review in this chapter, but I'll take a shot at it...
Firstly, Naruto and Sasuke seem to be going back into their strange, ninja, competitive relationship. The chapter begins off with the two of them, as I like to say, checking each other out. I suppose this seems quite nostalgic, especially since they haven't really met properly since the timeskip.

Naruto's so annoyed, he's turned into Brock.

But the thing that irritates me the most about this chapter? KIBA.
I god damn hate that guy, already in the last few chapters he's jumped into conversations going "I wanna be Hokage! me me me!" like some kind of whiny pre-pubescent kid who's had a little too much Coca Cola. Now he's taken the term "copying Naruto" to the next level. He uses... Kage Bunshin no Jutsu... At this stage, even Naruto's pissed off and says something like "Only 1? I could do like 1000 with my hands tied behind my back."
Seriously, Kiba's been getting more and more irritating as the series goes on. He has, quite literally, the WORST team out of the rookie 3 and still acts like they're number one...

Fortunately, Shino actually realises this and actually understands how stupid Kiba is. He's probably the only person in Team 8 that I actually like (I hate Hinata).

Naruto seems to have caught Gamabunta while he was putting on his lipstick...

Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and move on to the most important part of the chapter (like I said, there's not much to be reviewed), which is right at the end. It's just one page, but kinda gives a lot away. I thought this was pretty inevitable, especially with the reunion of Team 7, and I was pretty much waiting for this to happen. It would be pretty epic, if it wasn't an exact copy of something that has already happened. Seriously, the fact that everyone is slowly developing into copies of the Sannin is cool but this is a little too far! Talk about Generation Xerox to the extreme, when the hell did Sakura learn to summon slugs anyway? Why hasn't she used it at all until now? Didn't Sasuke move on to eagles? I'll tell you the answer to all these questions. They realised their mistake with Sasuke, and decided to not explain his change back to snakes, and to just show him summoning a snake. With Sakura? They decided "Hey, Sakura's not strong enough! Let's give her a bindi and some slugs within 2 chapters!". 

All that's left for Sakura to become Tsunade is to grow some boobs...

I know that Naruto is all about inheritance and stuff, but it seems like they're beginning to use that as an excuse for their lack of ideas and how they can't come up with anything more epic than things that have already happened.

Hopefully the next chapter will have some more review-able material. Sorry if this seemed a little short, like I said, there wasn't much to review in this chapter.
